I will endeavor to give you pages the look and feel you would like. Please bear in mind the following.
1) yes you can have a background but it must be a simple repeated gif , 1 MB pictures of you, your car or your favourite beer can cripple the speed at which you page loads at, also note complicated graphics are difficult to make work with text and my time isn’t limitless.
2) I suggest you use a URL website for contact info (should you wish it) its fairly easy to get free webhosting (microsoft live for example) this allows you to take control of your own contact info and remove it , should that become necessary . It’s a sad fact but there are people who delight in spamming and worse on the dear old interweb
3) Remember this is in public space, anything put up here will be read and indexed by search engines. This is particularly important if your writing is of a personal nature ( If this is the case you may wish to discuss posting it anonymously )
4) Think Carefully about whether you wish to use your “screenname “ here and/or main website, you can always do a variation of it (see point 2)
5) Please note, if you want anything taken down, it may take a month or more, and will be taken up at the next site edit !
6) Finally Thank You for displaying some of your work, the basic theory is someone who reads your work may like mine and vice versa

Go to profile: links on your account
scroll down to the 800 pixel display box
Copy (select and press control C) everything in the text box
Paste (Ctrl V) into a message to my inbox and /or in the forum
A more detailed set of instructions will follow later
